I have already a taito-shell session open and would like to open another session on the same node. How?

If you need to open a second shell on the same taito-shell node, for example to check the node's load or memory usage while your process is already running, here's how you do it:

Take note of the compute node's name that you are already using with taito-shell. The format is c<number>, eg. "c305".

Then open a normal ssh connection to

ssh -X

(-X is optional). You will end up on a taito-login node, eg. taito-login3. From the login node you can open a new ssh connection to your taito-shell node using it's name. For example:

ssh -X c305
