Where should I put my data in Sisu and Taito

Sisu and Taito share the same file system. In practice this means that both machines see the same files and directories.

The size of the home directory is very limited (50 GB) and generally you should not use it to work with research data.

When you copy or generate data to Sisu or Taito, you should in most cases store the data to your work directory ($WRKDIR), where you can have up to 5 TB of data. However, note that your work directory is not back-upped.

You can use the HPC-archive service to back-up and securely store data that is not actively used. In HPC archive the default quota is 2 TB for each user.
