CSC Webinars

CSC Webinars is a series of short, on-line technical talks followed by a free-form discussion of the topic at hand or of other issues raised during the discussion. Everyone is welcome to participate!

Join live webinar!

Aim of CSC Webinars is to provide practical guidance to help you in your daily work. Each webinar has a specific topic with a presenter giving a 10-20min introduction or demonstration on it. After the presentation there is time for questions, discussion, and further clarifications.

The presentation will be recorded and edited to publish a tutorial video on the topic. The Q&A session at the end of the presentation will not be included in the video.

You can give us feedback and suggest new webinar topics using this short survey.

How-to connect?

We use Zoom meeting rooms for the webinars. You will find the link to the webinar in the event page. When opening a Zoom link for the first time, you are asked to download a launcher plug in. You can do this beforehand. The webinar rooms are timed and will open when the webinar begins.

When logging in, remember to select "Join audio conference by computer". If you are using a head set, it is advisable to plug those in before opening the Zoom webinar room.

Video tutorial on how to join a Zoom meeting

In some webinars we also offer a Youtube stream: It is however advisable to use Zoom, as the discussion and Q&A session will be held there.
