Digital Preservation Service

Digital Preservation Service (DPS) for Research Data is dedicated for data sets that have great current and future value to an organization or at the national level. This service guarantees the preservation of digital assets from several decades to centuries.

To use DPS for Research Data, you need a formal contract with CSC as well as a preservation agreement for a given data set(s) with the Ministry of Education and Culture.

For data sets to be preserved with DPS, they have to meet certain strict requirements regarding file formats and metadata.
