Euclid
Euclid Cosmology Mission is the next cosmology satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA). The main object of Euclid is to solve the mystery of dark energy – why is the expansion of the universe accelerating? One of the EUCLID Science Data Centers will be located in Finland as a collaboration between several Finnish Universities and CSC, and led by the University of Helsinki.

EuroHPC/PRACE Finland aims to proactively support and facilitate access for Finnish researchers to state-of-the art computational and data resources for performing world-class science. The project will promote EuroHPC and PRACE resources and capabilities among the Finnish research communities and support Finnish resource application to the European systems.

The project aims to strengthen HPC expertise in Kajaani and the region of Kainuu by supporting companies in Northern and Eastern Finland in the uptake and utilisation of supercomputing, especially the industrial use of LUMI EuroHPC system hosted at CSC's data center in Kajaani.
