CSC participating in the IT-Days event in Jyväskylä
The annual IT-Days is one of the most important events for IT-professionals in the field of academic education in Finland, bringing together IT decision-makers from higher education institutions and specialist experts. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the event, which will be held in Jyväskylä on November 8–9, 2017 at the Jyväskylä Paviljonki.
CSC will once again be a big part of the programme. At our booth, you will be able to update your information on the services offered by CSC or listen to our experts speak on subjects such as: data sources for education and research; reform of Funet (Finnish University and Research Network); CSC cloud services for higher education institutions; and the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation on routine operations at higher education institutions.

Our booth has a full programme of activities for the duration of IT-Days. Our experts will be talking about the new or updated services available to higher education institutions through CSC. You'll learn about, for example, our handy Notebooks data analytics tool, Vipunen and the Funet Etuubi (Kaltura) video management system. When you leave your contact information with us, you'll also be entered in a drawing for a restaurant gift card.
CSC's programme will start bright and early on Wednesday morning, ahead of the official opening of IT-Days, with a presentation of our services in the Felix meeting room at the Jyväskylä Paviljonki.

– IT-Days is a forum for the exchange of ideas and friendly socializing, but even more so when CSC's in-house status as an actor for higher education institutions highlights new, topical matters and services for our common agenda," says Pekka Uusitalo Director of Sales and Partnerships at CSC.
The event is being organized by the University of Jyväskylä and Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences in co-operation with sector partners.
