International RDA Plenary in Finland dives into the vast potential of research data to make a difference

The 14th Research Data Alliance (RDA) Plenary will be organized in Dipoli at Aalto university Campus on 23–25 October 2019. The Plenary is co-hosted by CSC – IT Center for Science, Aalto University, University of Helsinki, Federation of Finnish Learned Societies and Finnish Meteorological Institute.

With the theme "Data Makes the Difference", the organizers want to address the extensive potential of research data in improving decision making, tackling grand societal challenges, and engaging citizens in the creation of knowledge and betterment of society.
 


Registration will open in May 2019, and approximately 500 participants are expected to participate the event.

Several collocated events will be organized in conjunction to the Plenary. If you want to collocate your meeting or arrange a specific event, please submit your application by May 25th 2019. More information and how to apply here.
