Tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiotoiminta

CSC etsii aktiivisesti mahdollisuuksia uusien innovaatioiden ja palveluiden kehittämiseksi asiakkaillemme. Tehtävämme on pitää Suomi tutkimuksen kärkimaana. Seuraamme järjestelmällisesti erilaisia rahoitusmahdollisuuksia tuodaksemme kansainväliset huippuinnovaatiot suomalaisen korkeakoulusektorin käyttöön ja osallistuaksemme tulevaisuuden avainteknologioiden ja -palveluiden kehittämiseen. Suurimpia tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeidemme rahoittajia ovat Suomen Akatemia, Business Finland, NeIC sekä Euroopan unionin CEF-, Horisontti 2020-, Horisontti Eurooppa- ja EARK-ohjelmat.

Osallistumme yli 60:een ulkoisen rahoituksen tutkimus-, kehitys- ja innovaatiohankkeeseen yhdessä kumppaneidemme kanssa. Tämä yhteistyö auttaa meitä tarjoamaan johtavia palveluita, kuten maailmanluokan laskenta- ja datanhallintapalveluita, suoraan suomalaisille tutkijoille. Lisäksi hankkeiden avulla tuomme suomalaiset näkökulmat kansainväliseen keskusteluun yhteisistä standardeista ja käytännöistä, mikä lisää Suomen kilpailukykyä ja edesauttaa laajasti suomalaista yhteiskuntaa.

AARC TREE

The AARC TREE project takes the successful and globally recognised “Authentication and Authorisation for Research Collaboration” (AARC) model and its flagship outcome, the AARC Blueprint Architecture (BPA), as the basis to drive the next phase of integration for research infrastructures.

BioExcel-3

BioExcel-3 will grow and sustain the Life Science HPC community in Europe, and its success will be measured by the ability to support codes and train scientists who produce almost 10,000 scientific papers and numerous industrial projects every year.

EHDS2 Pilot

The EHDS2 Pilot project will build and test a first version of European Health Data Space (EHDS) by interconnecting data provider platforms in a network of nodes, defining common standards for security, metadata catalogs, data quality and interoperability, and legal requirements based on use cases.

ELIXIR-STEERS

ELIXIR-STEERS will strengthen the operational excellence of ELIXIR Nodes, support the training and development of professional and scientific staff in ELIXIR Nodes, expand the membership of ELIXIR to new countries, enable international collaborations in particular with Latin America and Africa as well as stimulate innovation and industry engagement.

EOSC4Cancer

EOSC4Cancer will make cancer genomics, imaging, medical, clinical, environmental and socio-economic data accessible. It will use and enhance existing federated and interoperable systems for securely identifying, sharing, processing and reusing FAIR cancer data across borders, and offer them via community-driven analysis environments.

The Genomic Data Infrastructure (GDI) project brings together national agencies, research organisations, and technology providers in 22 countries to provide a cross-border federated network of national genome collections for advancing data-driven biomedical research and personalised medicine solutions to benefit citizens of Europe.

HEAP

HEAP will provide a research resource for an integrated and efficient analysis of the human exposome. HEAP will launch a state-of-the-science informatics infrastructure composed of prime ICT resources, accessed through a software platform to provide data warehousing and applied AI.

Heilsa Tryggvedottir

The objective of Heilsa Tryggvedottir e-Infrastructure collaboration is to productise and build on NeIC Tryggve project to increase interoperability of the Nordic e-Infrastructure to support data management, including requirements for data quality, standards, technical infrastructure, while also considering ethical, legal, and societal issues.
