Pre-processing for CFD with ANSYS

The seats are filled in the registration order. Payment can be made with electronic invoicing, credit card, or direct bank transfer. Note that for electronic invoicing you need the operator and e-invoicing address (OVT code) of your organization. Please also note that invoice reference is needed for electronic invoicing in your organization, so please have this available when registering. If a cancellation for the participation is received 5 business days before the event, the fee will be refunded with the exception of a handling fee of 10 €. For cancellations after this and no-shows without a cancellation no refunds will be made. Registration can be transferred to someone else from the same organization without additional charge.

This training course will introduce the student to ANSYS pre-processing capabilities. After the course, the student should have the pre-processing knowledge to generate high-quality CFD results. The ANSYS meshing capabilities will be presented and geometry tools (ANSYS DesignModeler and SpaceClaim) will be used to facilitate meshing and high-quality results when needed. Best practice guidelines and the whole process from CAD to an adequate CFD mesh will be covered. The course consists of lectures and hands-on practical examples.

All softwares used during the course, are included in the ANSYS Academic Multiphysics Campus Solutions products.

The course is only for personnel and students from Finnish universities and polytechnics.
