LS-DYNA is a general-purpose finite element program capable of simulating complex real world problems. It is used by the automobile, aerospace, construction, military, manufacturing, and bioengineering industries. CSC has purchased now LS-DYNA software for three years for free academic use on CSC's computing servers.

This introductory seminar gives a quick introduction to the application of LS-DYNA and is recommended for simulation engineers who want to use LS-DYNA as an FE code to simulate general nonlinear problems. Prior knowledge is not required.

LS-PrePost is the default pre- and postprocessor for LS-DYNA and will be used for both demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
