Aoe.fi service promotes finding, sharing anduse of open educational resources
Service description
In the Library of Open Educational Resources, you can search for and share open educational resources (OER) from all levels of education. The content is also available via Finna.fi search service. Aoe.fi service seeks to promote the use of OERs by providing a platform on which materials can gain visibility and reusability. By saving educational resources in the service you can ensure that they will remain available for use. Open educational resources deposited to aoe.fi service are taken into account in the Open Science monitoring in higher education institutions. Use of the service ensures visibility both for the author and the organisation.
Technical information
Materials uploaded to the Library of Open Educational Resources must be openly licensed. The service uses Creative Commons licenses. The license is indicated in the material description of the resource in question, but it is advisable to also make a note of it within the resource itself.

How to obtain the service
Using and searching educational resources is available to everyone, with no login, additional permission requests or payment necessary. However, users must be logged in in order to share OERs to aoe.fi or leave comments. Logging into the service is possible via the Haka and MPASSid services as well as using Suomi.fi e-identification.
