Online: Pouta course

Welcome to the course on the Pouta virtualisation environment. The course covers the basics of the platforms and how to become a user. No previous knowledge is required. This course will cover topics such as cloud computing basics and landscape, OpenStack and Pouta virtual resource basics. The topics will be put into practice through exercises.

This is the first part of a two day cloud course where the first day focuses on Pouta and the second day focuses on the Rahti service. The second part is not a direct continuation of the first, both courses can be taken separately. You can find the Rahti course here.

The course is run by CSC and the trainer is Joona Tolonen.
Joona has worked in education for almost twenty years and has been using CSC services for a decade.
