Quick access page
To access CSC’s SD Services, it is important to first identify the type of sensitive data your research involves, whether it is:
- research data (e.g. consented data collected for scientific studies)
- or secondary use of health and social data (e.g. register data provided by the Finnish Social and Health Data Permit Authority Findata or a public register).
This determines the appropriate CSC project type used for access (Academic or Findata) and the data import and export workflows. How the CSC project type is used also determines whether project members can download files or only access them in read-only mode.
If you are getting started, please explore the use case examples and user guide to find the right tools for your research. For further support, don’t hesitate to contact us (topic: Sensitive data services).
