Noppe

Cloud platform for educational use

Easy-to-use applications for working with data and programming

Service description

The Noppe service is a cloud platform that gives end users easy access to web applications. Web applications, such as JupyterLab, RStudio and VS Code Server, provide consistent, installation-free environments that can be used for educational purposes. To use the service, educators and students need to log in using their CSC account or their home organisation's Haka or Virtu credentials. Once logged in, educators can create workspaces and use their own teaching materials. Students can then either join these workspaces or access the self-learning web applications.
