EOSC Finnish Forum

The EOSC Finnish Forum (EOSC FF) supports Finnish stakeholders to better understand and influence EOSC development by bringing Finnish expertise to the EOSC Federation and through identifying the most suitable opportunities and services coming out of EOSC for Finnish stakeholders, in order to foster innovation and boost the societal impact of high-quality Finnish research.
The EOSC Finnish Forum has over 120 members of researchers and data professionals. Joining EOSC FF allows members to stay up-to-date on EOSC developments and join sessions on current and future EOSC-related collaborations and opportunities. EOSC FF seeks to strengthen the collaboration between Finnish RDI actors and EOSC.

Membership is free of charge and valid until further notice.
EOSC FF welcomes the participation of all individuals interested in EOSC and who have signed or are working for an organisation that has signed the Declaration for Open Science and Research 2025–2030. (See the full list of signatories.) There is no limitation in the number of members that each organisation can have as part of the EOSC FF.
All new members will be added to the EOSC FF mailing list which is the main communication channel of the Forum.
Structure of the EOSC Finnish Forum
The EOSC Finnish Forum (EOSC FF) was established in January 2021 by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Academy of Finland, the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies and CSC – IT Center for Science. The EOSC Finnish Forum has three bodies: the Forum, the Coordinating Committee and the Office.
The Forum is composed by all individuals who have joined the EOSC Finnish Forum. It is the main arena for discussion and interaction. The Forum meets throughout the year in webinars and info sessions.
The Coordinating Committee facilitates the work of the EOSC Finnish Forum and meets around every two months to organise the activities of the EOSC FF.
The current composition of the Coordinating Committee is:

- Finnish representatives in the EOSC Association Task Forces.
The EOSC FF Office supports the Coordinating Committee in running the EOSC Finnish Forum and its activities. The EOSC FF Office is run by CSC – IT Center for Science.
